The world's leading trade fair for metalworking - AMB - was once again a complete success this year. Important updates from the industry, numerous events and intensive discussions: 65,584 trade visitors from 78 countries used AMB to find out about the latest technologies and trend topics and to establish or expand business relationships. AMB 2024 thus recorded an increase compared to 2022. The international exhibition for metalworking, which was fully booked despite the current difficult economic environment, was opened on 10 September by Roland Bleinroth, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart, and Dr. Florian Stegmann, Minister of State and Head of the State Chancellery of Baden-Württemberg. After five successful trade fair days, it closed its doors on September 14.
At the AMB Stage, the Baden-Württemberg Industry 4.0 Alliance, the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation and Messe Stuttgart jointly awarded prizes to pioneering innovations for metalworking from young companies. And the winner on Thursday was: plasmotion GmbH. " The company has developed a jet polishing process that combines plasma physics and electrochemistry in a single technology, offering the quality and flexibility of manual finishing in a fully automated process for the first time."
